Florence Arnold

Florence Arnold est née en France en 1975. Aujourd’hui elle vit et travaille à Casablanca après avoir passé son enfance essentiellement en Afrique subsaharienne.

Avec ses mots Florence parle de son travail et de son parcours : « Mon enfance m’a influencée dans ma recherche artistique, toujours en mouvement, changeant de pays, de maison, de culture.

J’ai beaucoup appris des autres. Mon travail a un rapport à l’espace. Un espace qui est actuel et métaphorique, liant le passé et l’avenir mais, sans y être attachée.

Ces formes n’ont aucune limite, elles se répandent comme un tracé de poudre, laissant apparaître un nuage sans explosion comme dans un rêve. L’utilisation de papier hydrofuge blanc, de lumière, renforce l’idée d’éphémère et de spirituel. Elles ont un territoire convergeant : l’univers !» Florence Arnold a exposé dans de nombreuses galeries marocaines et étrangères.

Florence Arnold was born in France in 1975. She now lives and works in Casablanca after spending most of her childhood in sub-Saharan Africa.

In her own words, Florence speaks about her work and journey:
"My childhood has influenced my artistic exploration—always in motion, moving from country to country, house to house, and culture to culture. I have learned a lot from others. My work relates to space—both a real and metaphorical space, linking the past and the future, but without being bound to either.

These forms have no limits; they spread like a trail of powder, revealing a cloud without explosion, as in a dream. The use of white waterproof paper and light reinforces the idea of the ephemeral and the spiritual. They share a converging territory: the universe!"

Florence Arnold has exhibited in numerous galleries in Morocco and abroad.
